I am French-Scottish, born to a Scottish father and a French mother in East Kilbride, near Glasgow, in Scotland. In 1996 I left Scotland meaning to travel and see the world. But, as the saying goes, life is what happens while you are busy making other plans. So of the world, I have mostly seen France. Which is not so bad after all.

I first settled in Paris, where I met my wife, and where I also “met” pottery, taking wheel-throwing classes with a wonderful teacher, Karin Dessag. Since 2005 I have lived in Buis-les-Baronnies, a small town in the Drôme provençale where life is good, and where we brought up our three children.

Since I first met pottery, it has taken up more and more of my life. Today I am setting out to make it my main occupation. It will be a great pleasure to welcome you to the workshop if you would like to buy some pottery or take a class.
