Functional pottery in white stoneware, decorated with slips using techniques such as sgraffito and mishima. The patterns are inspired by nature, plants and spontaneous drawings made over the years.

I make functional pottery (bowls, jugs and so on) in white stoneware, which I decorate with slips using a range of techniques such as sgraffito and mishima. I try to make pots that are pleasing to look at, to hold and to use. Some of my patterns reflect my love of plants and the natural world. Others come from the little spontaneous drawings I have always made whenever I had a scrap of paper and a pencil to hand.
I also make irrigation jars from red earthenware that comes from Catalonia. Also called “oyas” (a registered trademark) or “ollas”, they water plants at the roots and save water. I make jars in different sizes, from 0.5 L to 10 L, fired at 970 °C. They can be used in open ground, in tubs or in window boxes.
